Tyson Roberts is an artist that I came across through a blog of some sort as usual- but his interview led me to his site and so forth and so on; I’m really impressed. Tyson is a painter that works with abstract landscapes that have a sort of Siggi Eggertsson meets Monet feel. Beautiful organic forms that hold a sort of pixelated presence on the canvas, always in a state of constant motion. From cityscapes to landscapes, Tyson states that he tries to capture that constant change that our environments are always going through- never in a state of rest. So when you view his paintings, there is definitely a sense of never ending motion, as if some of the environments he creates are simply snapshots of an infinite world that stretches beyond the edges of the canvas. Not to mention, just straight up, that his colors are beautiful. He even has some awesome digital paintings via iPhone’s Brushes app! Check out his work now via his personal website, check out his interview via PICDIT to go a little more in depth behind the work, and watch the video at the end of this post to see him in action (which I highly recommend). I want them all, let’s split the price and buy one for when we live together some day, like tomorrow!
